My tank is a little over 2.5 months old and I believe a fair amount of coraline algae has grown in that time. I’m upgrading to a stronger light on Thursday. Anyways my params are ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 6 ish. Calc 480. Mag 1320. Alk 8.2 ph 8

does the presence of coraline indicate the aquarium can support LPS? Here’s a pic of my new tank.

Looks like cyano to me, not coraline. Part of the new tank uglies. Coraline is usually dark purple or green and hard to rub off.
Hmm maybe. I tried rubbing it off and it doesn’t work. I did have a cyano outbreak but it was more like wavy hairs. Idk I’ll stick to softies for a few more months ig

I was under the assumption that near the beginning coraline was light pink splotches?
