Hi friends,

Got an Atlantic blue tang that has been in quarantine for one month. About two weeks ago I saw 5 salt like things on him and thought it was ich so I started cupramine. The ones on his face are gone but during the cupramine these two cist looking things have been on his tail fin for about 4 days now. Copper is at .55 with Hanna checker.
He is eating and very energetic. My 14 day treatment is set to end Monday... do the white spots look like ich to you guys?? I’m very sorry about the dirty glass.

Thanks

. Do they appear to cottony or like cauliflower in texture? If they do it could be Lymphocystis

Hi @Frtdrmrose7, thank you for the response. My dirty glass makes it look a little fluffier than it actually is. It looks like small hard crystals. He hasn’t had any but those two for over ten days now... would ich have progressed further than this at this stage or paused because of the copper?

Thanks again.
