Credit card
Step ladder
Mason jar
Tupperware
Scrub brushes
Zip strips
Brute trash cans
Waterproof flashlight
Turkey baster
Vinegar
My glasses (couldn't see the tanks without them)
And probably a couple dozen other things I'm just not thinking of.

EDIT: OH yeah. TOWELS! Thanks @Arabyps.
What do you use the mason jar and zip strips for?

What do you use the mason jar and zip strips for?
Zip strips are for cable management and the mason jar is for adding/removing water to the sump to get the level just right after a cleaning.

There are so many things that are very useful to us as reef aquarium hobbyists! But there are certain items that many consider to be a MUST HAVE item if you're going to keep a saltwater aquarium in your house! These items range from aquarium equipment to cleaning supplies and will vary from person to person! So today let's put together a list!

What item do you you think every reefer shouldn't reef without?

What are the non-aquarium items that have proven to be very handy?

Hanna Salinity Checker. Its so easy to use. It makes checking my salinity and temperature for water changes and such a breeze.

The ability to read!! Internet, books and magazines. I try to research what I buy before I buy it. These things are essential for aquarium... and life.

Patience - don't reef without it!

In addition to the many things already mentioned - egg crate diffusers, tulle, plastic canvas, PVC pipe, clay pottery, plastic berry baskets, OXO kitchen gadgets, dosing syringe, and polyfill pillow stuffing are also items that I regularly use.
