This was the last 230.6 made. Thanks to Angela for pulling some strings and making the white stand happen (Originally black stand). And thanks to Jessica for all the help so far and quick replies! (and for helping score a Trident at Macna!!!)

Goal will be a mixed reef / SPS dominant tank.

Will begin setting up over the next couple of days... Key pictures in first post, but pictures throughout thread as well.

Any suggestions on how far off the back wall I should setup the stand/tank? Factoring in I'll be using 2 MP40s on the back glass. Dry sides sides stick out about 2-3 inches.

Maybe just enough to get the dry sides in and out?

I have 2 mp10s on my back glass and just enough room to slip them back there. I wish i gave myself an extra inch or so. Your mp40s are larger though. I would give enough room to comfortably get your arm behind it!

Looking good, like the beach house floor. Is this a second home or a new home located beachside.

I would recommend leaving enough room from tank to wall to address 2 things. 1 is heat. If the pumps run full for an extended period they generate heat. 2 is leave enough room to get a hand back there that can move the dry side if making adjustments.

Keep pics coming

Congrats! I am still waiting on the 220.6. I bought the same skimmer as you, the Elite 200 int. This will not fit in the skimmer section. We have to remove the divider. I’m thinking I will silicone the diver over 2 inches or so to have a refugium. What are your plans?

Thanks! I have the SSS model. Super Space Saving. I'm pretty sure it will fit. I checked a while ago. Will confirm.

Thanks! This is a second home we purchased on beach side. But the vibe here is so much more relaxed it may become our main/permanent home. Love it so far.

May do 5 inches from the back wall. Plenty of room. Plan to put display tank on stand tomorrow. More pictures coming...

I think @tdlawdo has this same tank if you have questions. Radions and Vortechs too.

Varios 8 return too powerful. Rated for 2700gph... a beast. Running on lowest setting and although I have it dialed in pretty well, I think there is room for improvement.

Swapping out pump to a Ecotech Vectra M2 rated at 2000gph.

I would go for a Varios 6 but rated for 1720gph. Want a little more than 1700. Sucks, I prefer the Varios pumps with built in cut off switches. I'll just add a cut off switch in apex to shut down vectra.

I have the Elite 200 SSS with the pump built internally. It barely fits with the divider. If I would have gotten the regular Elite 200 it would not fit. This will allow me to use the divider and setup refugium as planned.
