I hate cutting filter for my cups but by far the cheapest option. Replace every 4-5 days. Cut into 6x6 squares. Can buy on amazon.

What does everyone keep their nitrates, phosphates, alk at? What is the max par at the top of your rock work and how long do you guys run at max for each day?

Completed a ICP Analysis water test of my tank and RO water. Results below.

Checked par. 4x XR30 G4 Pros with diffusers. Right under one of the XR30s, at the peak of my rock work, @ 40%, I'm at around 230ish par.

Sweet build and thank you for sharing!

I have a 220.6 and your 230 has me a bit jealous hahaha

Thanks! Basically the same thing. I think waterbox did it to main stream parts. What skimmer are you using in your sump? I'm assuming youre doing a refugium since I sent you some chaeto. The Random Flow nozzles are pretty nice also. I added 2x 3/4s!

Also what kind of salt do you mix with?

I'll definitely check put thos nozzles as we were trying to decide about those hahah

We use a Quantum skimmer amd nose reactor with the semi fuge. We have to move the skimmer to the from to stop chewing up all the pods but other than that its running pretty smooth!

Your cheato is wonderful by the way...but I think you knew that hahaha ;)

Awesome build! I got the 130.4, I wish I would have went with that one instead.

Thanks sir! We all started with smaller tanks and upgraded You can do the same! Watetbox does their annual blue sale in November... buy another one! I personally love their frag tanks.

Of course I typically don’t do the premade systems. I like piecing together my system. My wife liked it so I said what the heck.

Same thing with me. Wife actually purchased it for me. I like putting together my own tanks as well but was much more expensive doing something custom. I got the last 230.6 back when they were under $3300. Now the new 220.6 is almost $4k. Crazy. I also got $700 toward coral and fish. I got a great deal

Although I'm not a fan of Reed Roids (aka reef phates), my corals do respond well to it. Need to watch how much you use, phosphates will go through the roof.

Great success with Benepets. No experience with reef chili. Decided to mix a small amount of each and see for myself.
