DOS: is it better to suck or blow?

Now that I have you here....

I am mounting a DOS I will either need to have it draw like 15ft and then push 1 foot.

Or vice versa draw water 1ft and pushing it 15ft?

For the sake of accuracy which is better?

It won't make any difference. However, I recommend placing the DOS further away from your living space if possible due to the noise. I have a DOS in my garage 30 feet away from the aquarium in my living room. I use it for auto water changes, so it runs for many hours per day at a fast pace which would be annoying to listen to if it was actually in my living room.
