Very good. Copepods. Commonly called, "pods"
+1. Isopods, amphipods, and ostracods are also considered "pods," but copepods are the most common. The dark orange "orbs" on the tail end of the copepod are its eggs. On the other end are its antennae and single eye (one freshwater genus is even called Cyclops). Many copepods feed on phytoplankton and dosing can increase their numbers; they serve as live food for larger organisms.
