I’m getting a 16 Oz bottle of phytoplankton mixed with pods for my 16 gallon tank. Does anyone have suggestions as to how much to use at one time?

I find that every bottle of phytoplankton varies in terms of its size/type of phytoplankton and concentration. There should be instructions on the bottle, or who did you purchase it from?

Regarding the pods, I would put the whole thing in with everything turned off for 30 minutes. Preferably at night.

Agree with @Macbalacano on the pods.

On the phyto be very very judicious, there are a lot of nutrients in phyto and it can very easily overwhelm your tank, especially because of the size you have. You don't need an algae outbreak, that if you are not prepared for, get out of control.
