Looking good! How's it been with being bare bottom?

Thank you very much. I've been bare bottom in several tanks for close to 10-years. While it does increase the particulate in the water, I prefer it over sand for a few reasons. I've done with and without starboard, with this being my first attempt with black starboard. I like this one best.

Great set-up, one day.. :D

I dreamt of this for a long time. It really was a blessing that things came together the way they did.

Thank you very much! I'm glad you posted those two links. Another R2R member (Locito) who happens to be a friend, is giving me one of those lights today. He just sent me the photo to let me know it's ready for me.

Looks great!

Thanks Rev!

Thank you and welcome to the thread.

The MTC ProCal has a Venturi feature built in and pulls water from a line placed in the sump.

From all of my research, most ProCal users are taking advantage of this; a few have posted that they are relying on peristaltic pumps.

I have a feed on the manifold for the CaRx, but from what I've read, the team at MTC recommends against force feeding the reactor.

Hello my R2R friends. Quite a few things to update. My apologies for the gap in posts.

For starters, my buddy Locito gave me a MARS Hydro 300w LED Grow Light. It went up over the fuge easily and we now have some chaeto growing.

Fish have all been doing great until today, when I noticed ick spots on the purple tang, who has been with us for years.

I've got the Vortex XL diatom filter going and I have continued to feed metroplex infused food. At this point, stressing over it won't help. Say a prayer for our fish!

I have to make note that the crosshatch pair was a birthday surprise from my wife... I am blessed.

Let's hope that my next update is a positive one...

Your tank is amazing...it's everything that my 90g wants to be when it grows up :)

Thank you very much. My first "large" tank was a 90. It was a great tank. Enjoy the journey!

Those cross hatches are amazing! Great job!

Thanks. They are pretty cool. I am really enjoying them.

Great tank!

Thank you very much!

Your reef looks fantastic, AJ! You really raised the bar with those amazing cross hatches. Very nice additions!

Thanks! Their swimming motion is something else and watching him race down the 10' stretch is awesome.
