Fantastic progression !!! .... my tank looks like your early progression LOL I have so much stuff hanging off the sides its like a mad experiment (no sump yet) LOL.

Thanks Rev...

It was my fault though. I was too busy with the MTRC swap and didnt mix new alk and cal. My ALK dropped to 5, then I was leaving 2 days later for 5 days, so I felt that I needed to bump it up a bit before I left. So the swing took it's toll.:cry:

It was my fault though. I was too busy with the MTRC swap and didnt mix new alk and cal. My ALK dropped to 5, then I was leaving 2 days later for 5 days, so I felt that I needed to bump it up a bit before I left. So the swing took it's toll.:cry:

so did it bleach or did it brake off the plug? I hope you can salvage some of it.

The plug is in the pic to give a size reference. The whole thing was peeling away from the alk swing. None of it was salvaged. Sad day...

Very sorry to hear about your coral. So a alk drop can affect things that fast huh? yikes.

Alk swings are the most dangerous thing that can happen over any other parameter. Especially for sps.

Finally after 10 days, I think everything is settled back down. Or at least the peeling of tissue has stopped on my monti's and nothing else is dying. Very frustrated with myself for allowing this to happen. Lost a few corals completely, and some are not replaceable.:sad:

SPS took it hard but my LPS are Happy!
