Last night I realized I didn't see my pipefish anywhere so this morning I scoured the tank and he's no where to be found. I don't know what could of happened I have a lid on the tank and all my other fish get along with each other. Only thing I can think of is maybe my pistol shrimp got him? Other than that only other livestock is corals, 2 clowns, firefish, Watchman and pistol pair, and a Mandarin. Please let me know I've already checked my HOB filter and everywhere inside and outside the tank. I also checked nitrate and Phosphate and no spikes?? Here's some pics from 2 days ago..... I'm sill hoping he'll turn up don't Want to lose this guy I've had him for 4 months.

SAD UPDATE

The pipefish was found.........

2 days ago I dosed reef flux in my tank so I removed the carbon sponges in my HOB filter and I think because of that the flow increased enough to where he could get sucked in. Found him just now as I was doing maintenance during my WC. Found him caught in the fan. RIP SADFACE. I justed ordered a small sponge that fits on the end of the intake to make sure this doesn't happen again.

Missing him already
