I’m randomly thinking about this.

Let’s say my fish are in 2.5ppm copper power and I add a cup of pure ich - will the ich die before it has time to latch onto the fish?

My common sense is saying that they would instantly die because tomonts hatch at night when fish are on the bottom sleeping. If copper didn’t kill fast enough ich would infect the fish and produce copper resistant parasites?

Are you sure it’s your common sense?
Nice joke.

Forget about it. I just wanted to know how long ich survives in case because I think it’s possible that a few drops of ich water got into my copper treatment tank.

I suspect you’ll probably get the response you’re looking for when phrased like that.

Ok. Good. I phrased it rhetorically in the original post because I didn’t want anyone to judge me for possibly cross contaminating.
