Is there any reason I shouldn’t be dry dosing monopotassium phosphate directly to my system (without mixing in solution first)?

I use one .05 ml dry scoop directly into my tanks overflow and it consistently raises my PO4 by .04 in my 300 gallon system.

I only dose when I see my PO4 approaching .02. I like to keep between .06 - .1.

Thank you Randy. Will the amount I’m dosing have any significant impact on my potassium level?

Very little, but some. I recommend sodium in most cases, but the problem is much smaller than using potassium nitrate since so much less is added.
