A little ramp up wyze cam shplam.

Had a bottle of Ions magnesium I started dosing daily 4 days ago.
My last run of params looked like this-
Cal 370
Mag 1280
Alk 8.9
Nitrates 10
Phosphates not .03 but not .1 so somewhere in between.
Anyhow look how fat minecraft has gotten since I started dosing the ions.
I'm not entirely comfortable with it as it has Strontium and Boron that im not testing for but I'm thinking I'm going to get some kits. As well as start making my own magnesium mix to start dosing.

What are you testing mag with?
I have a hanna and red sea kit. For whatever reason I can't get either one to work and match my lfs. But going to actually sit down and read hanna directions and try again tonight.
For cal and mag I have 2 lfs check it weekly for now.
I honestly can't believe how much magnesium this new tank is running through.

Alright I can tell you for sure mincraft has not looked this good since full system swap.
Not sure I could ever see the color on wyze cam but im seeing it now. And she's swelled up and not even at full ramp yet!
I slowly watched her slump back while my magnesium declined.
4 days of dosing mag has her perked back up. Nothing else has changed.
Can't wait to get pictures tonight:D

Minecraft, Magic Carpet and friends.
This is probably the closest I've gotten to true color and how minecraft looks in new tank under the light the way it is.
Magic carpet is the one I've been trying to dial in and blowing up since I started dosing magnesium lol ill get it right one of these times haha

Ok shroom gurus. I got some shrooms in trade that are fairly transparent. I'm wondering if that's a symptom of too much or too little light? Something else? Thanks.

Not a Guru by any means, but I have only seen this in my tank with mushrooms not receiving much direct light.

Example from the back side of Earl Rock

Circled mushroom is completely translucent. Yes there is a green heugh, but you can literally see the foot connecting to the rock, through the top. I have a few others that display this, none of them can get a good picture due to lighting.

Only thing I can add to what Sauce said is the exact same thing will happen if you toast them and give to much light. Its probably opposite for you here they where probably in too little light.
What I do with all new shrooms is put in low flow low light area to let acclimate until the settle in to my system. From there they usually tell me they need more light by stretching and cupping so ill inch them to a spot where they finally lay out comfortably under the lamp. They all have a sweet spot just have to find it.

Is that a recent pic of RockoEarl?
Looking like they are coming around to new lamp for you.
