Shroom Lagoon Do Over

Sucks, I bought a mini red carpet, it moved about two inches over night one and then detached, it re appeared about seven days later but the following morning was under over an inch of sand, not seen since.

Crazy man. Have you noticed anything off in the tank?
I actually put that nem in shroom lagoon and it did start melting and oozing before I got home and could remove it. Was a stressful day at work to say the least. Soon as I talked to the wife and she told me how it looked I knew immediately what happened. Could have nuked the tank im sure.
I should have listened to gut and never brought it home. I'm not even pushing enough par to keep a nem. I wanted to believe it was a shroom and did look exactly like a shroom!

Mostly softies now, a few lps and the pavona, no reactions to any corals over those two days.

I asked because a cpl of my shrooms def didn't like it. Everyone looks ok today though. Was pretty sketchy for solid day. And tough to remove without making a mess!

Another knucklehead moment.
I've been super stressed since the carpet nem debacle a few shrooms especially godzilla hasn't been fully opening. I would have sworn nem nuked just enough to cause problems.
Nope. I did it AGAIN! I left gravity feed off when I cleaned tanks over weekend.
May just grab some more slides for seneye and set some alarms. Godzilla still not happy and been a cpl days since I fixed it.

Slimer looking all fuzzy this morning. Starting to throw new limbs where it started to encrust. Sitting at 180 par directly under T5 actinic bank.
Green Poletti JB starting to get really responsive and digging its new spot in shroom condo where its placed. Watched it eat mysis yesterday.
Magic carpet acting like it wants to go for ride on bivalve behind it Been doing that for days I wouldnt mind if it climbed onto that rock and made a bunch of babies on it.
GMK has 2 new heads right next to it not even trying to look at GMK for now but it is a stunner and growing some big vibrant heads in my fuller spectrum for a zoa. I like it.
Gonna work on trying to separate some babies this weekend.

Might aswell just do some FFTS save us all the time. Don't think I forgot about you @LRT lol my 120g is to dirty and half empty for more pics. upgrading to a 269gallon! Picking it up tomorrow. my little fish room is coming along too gonna have to do a couple build threads. Looking forward to share and hear peoples ideas check the cynarina out!

Whats your plans for them?

Plans basically grow out/holding tanks. The 269 is gonna be fish only for a while most likely. And then put in some large coral, 6'x3'x2'high and acrylic super pumped got some work ahead of me. Your shrooms are looking bomb just huge and so colorful gonna have to pick your brain sometime when I have a dedicated shroom tank.

@LRT whats your favorite type of mushrooms? I'm a fan of these large yumas, does anybody know if there's anymore large yumas like these? These shrooms get some crazy bounce bubbles. Left to right-

Kingkong yuma
Godzilla yuma

Yumas a for sure tied for 1st place with a cpl others though. I have a cpl unique yumas. And Og godzilla is def a unique piece all on its own.
First time I ever watched a shroom eat a shroom was a cpl weeks ago. Yumas can be nasty man. I had a snail move one of my Earl rhodactis close to a Yuma. The Yuma walked a little and draped its skirt over Earl and completely dissolved half a Earl over night. Never seen anything like it. Im going to try to get pictures of the Earl. Look like he was cut in half. Growing skirt back now though.
