So I ordered two 35$ led fixtures it says they are dim-able but no dial to do so so I’m assuming if I buy a controller it would work... honestly I’m impressed even thru black metal mesh screen lids and 1/8 glass sheets the tank shimmers! Do not own par meter but I don’t think I even need one as I don’t have corals yet and can just experiment with placement and save 100$ I don’t have lol but if your looking for a low cost light I recommend highly I could even get two more and still only have like 4/5lbs total on the top... they are super light weight sleek and clean wish they used 90 degree power plug in the fixture but on a 6’ tank two 36” bars sit perfectly... so 4 would work as well if I need that much light ever lol I’m sure in a year or two that may be needed lol check um out! 4 to the door for 140$... that’s a lot of light of min $$$!!!

Oh ok so is this 100% worthless then? Reviews said it’s frowning corals better then ho bulb upgrade with the same lights... I’m waiting to take a long drive to get an aquatic life 72” ho 8 bulb lunar lights set up... will that be enough for a 72”long 19”deep 24” tall... are these led good for anything?

They will be fine for cycling your tank just not powerful enough to grow most LPS/ SPS corals and it has the wrong color leds (Most likely grow tons of algae). IMO at most you would want a 50/50 split of white to blue. A lot of people do more blue than white. The Aquatic life would be a good light for your tank. Def go read up on what you plan on buying here on the forums for reviews and compatibility before purchasing, it can save you some money and headache.
