Same. Not calling OP a liar. I’ll just believe an official statement before something a CS rep blurts out.

personally, I’m not bothered either way. Only ecotech I have is a vectra m1 I got used. Other than that I’m a coralvue and reefbreeders guy. Nothing against ecotech, just not my cup of tea.
Same. I'll have a used mp40 never been a fan but I guess I'll see how they work. Always been a maxpect gyre and nero fan so we'll see

Nobody's calling you a liar but the game is telephone exists and there have been dozens of incorrect posts saying xyz bought PDQ. It really means nothing until the companies release it.
Exactly. I want to hear it from Ryan

Would you rather they have let those other companies die out?

Brs is buying companies for 2-3x forward earnings. That shows no growth in the company and no working capital to change that.

I don't care who buys who. I just want to see innovative products that are quality. My interest is automation and products that make reef keeping easier.

So they now own AquaIllumination, Ecotech, and Neptune lights.

they own marine depot and Neptune systems. Without an official press release stating ecotech/AI was acquired, I wouldn’t hold to that idea as truth

Didn’t ecotech just build a new warehouse? It would be weird to dump a bunch of money in knowing there going to flop. The only reason why companies like that would flop is because of bad business and bad customer service . I have dealt with ecotech and there customer service is a joke dido on Neptune

Companies invest in things like new warehouses and expansion of capacity in order to raise their value and make an acquition for the founders, investors more valuable to the investment group.
at the end its Bertram Capital that would be buying them
does not mean they were bought out of bankruptcy

but i too would like to see the press release

have too many eco tech products and i too have had very variable customer service support
