I’m still new to saltwater but I’ve been reading about salt creep and how it can sometimes make equipment need to be cleaned, do you have any tips on how to keep it working well?

I don't usually see salt creep on my lights, because I keep them at least 8" from the water. You will see it all over the rest of your equipment. You just have to clean periodically.
