Ecotech Vectra M2 not restarting when power flickers (even with battery back-up)

Does anyone have the same problem ? It has been happening since day 1. When we lose power for a fraction of a second, not only does the battery back-up not kick in, but the pump itself doesn’t even start with the power being back on.

I bought all my equipment brand new not even a year ago. I have a feeling this is a bug because everytime I test the battery back-up manually, it works.
