Newer photo. Things are growing out a bit, and the rock looks like it’s matured some.
So far all fish and coral, except one is doing well. I lost the elegance coral that was on the left side of the tank above the green rhodactis mushrooms. It was extending less and less each day. Yesterday it started bailing out of the skeleton. I’ve never had any luck with these corals. I won’t be trying another one!

I just got word from Innovative Marine that the 170 EXT tank that I ordered is ready to ship. I’m really excited since they said 4-6 months and it’s only been 4 weeks. So now I’m scrambling to buy the rest of the equipment I need, but in a happy way.

I’m hoping to have it all set up by the end of January. My husband and I are going on a vacation the first week of February, so I won’t transfer anything over from the old tank until we get back. The one thing I have learned in this hobby is not to make any major changes if you are not going to be around to check on everything the first few weeks. There is too much of a chance that I didn’t get all the kinks out and don’t need to come home to a flooded house.
