While you have a battle, you have a great grasp on this task and tons of good info here. The best part is it appears you caught it early before serious damage occurred. At the rate you caught it and are taking action, I doubt you lose a single one.
Hahaha thanks man! I’ll keep this thread updated for future references for those unfortunate enough to be in this situation too

How do you know the difference? I found flatworms on my hamers yesterday too. I had some flatworms on my goniopora’s too a few months ago. I dipped them once and never saw them again on the gonis…
Your pictures show these which are Polyclad. I accidentally said planaria

I found what I assume were also EEFW on 2 torches in my coral QT tank. Thankfully they aren’t in my display. They looked identical to those posted here. Do these flatworms eat only euphyllia? I have a few other corals in the QT and didn’t find anything on them.

That is appreciated haha, luckily your torches are a size which is still able to get dipped pretty easy…

if my flatworms make their way to my 100 head torch I am screwed haha

Apparently emojis don’t work here. I tried using a laughing face lol.
I think i read somewhere they can roam around and cover some serious ground, but I don’t imagine they would go after anything else?? After all they are called euphyllia eating after all LOL

I’m sure that the case but all my torches and hammers and acans are happy so I don’t bother dipping or searching any more.. if I see a problem I’ll deal with it then.. I am upgrading tanks right now so I’ll dip them all as they go in my new display and never again.. lol

Update

I have set up my battle station, waiting for water to mix so I don’t cause any salinity swings.. but i doubt 5-6 gallons of water will do too much to 110 gallon system.

anyways! I have got some rough denture cleaning tools as they’re pretty stiff and look like they might be good for getting any eggs off! In addition I *AHEM* procured some tools from my girlfriends beauty kit (she said she never used these before but i still boiled sanitized em) and they appear to be some sort of steel so should be okay!

And for the dip I’m going to do a mixture of revive and iodine. Might do a slightly stronger dip maybe 1.4x with the revive as they will be sort dips but im thinking

5cap fulls per gallon
And 40 drops of iodine. (Roughly a full dropper) :)

i have used stronger iodine dips before and for longer to boot. And usually for infection scares and stuff so i figure this concentration should be okay for a dip
