I have had this torch for about 2 months and it has been happy for almost the entire time until that last couple of days. On closer inspections I just saw what might be some kind of eggs on it and am looking for an id if someone has any ideas.

They look basically the same. Should I remove from the tank to inspect in a separate container?

Dip it and blow the coral with a baster or pipette and see if anything falls off. Use a butter knife or something and scrape them off. I would also wait for someone elses input as I've only had them once

I agree with Jake, looks like polyclad worm eggs. Dip every 2-3 days for a week solved it for me. Also like Jake said, scrape off any eggs you can.

Just did a dip with Brightwell KoralMD I did see a couple like black blobs but the more apparent objects were larger white blobs that kind of looked like caterpillar cacoons. I didn’t grab a picture of them but there were 4 of them attached to the skeleton of the torch. I also got all the eggs that I could see off with a toothbrush

Here is the post dip pic.

If you saved them keep the masses in the cup you dipped in and see if they move. Dipping does not kill them by any means. It makes them weak enough to fall off. All euphillia in your tank is at risk so inspect all torches, hammers and frogspawn keep an eye on them
