Here is to another long over due update.

So a while back ago I actually WON something off of Social Media GIVEAWAY on the Innovative Marine Facebook page . It was when they just released the NUVO EXT line up.

So I ended up winning a brand new just released IM 30L Nuvo EXT with matching APS stand. And man do I love this little 30g tank, very pretty and sexy!

Here are some pictures !

I have to admit I am in love with this little tank .. I am having a lot of ideas come into my head as well on what to use it for ;)

There maybe a change in this build ... something kinda came up a few weeks ago , I’ll keep you all updated and let you all know it it goes through and can put some major BRAKES on my build [emoji22]

Thank you again for being part of this Journey with me , and I am sorry it has been a long one at that .

Congrats on the win - that's a super cool prize. Hope everything works out to allow you to move forward with it.

Now for an odd request - can you show a closeup pic of the return line? is that genuine Loc-Line on there? Sure looks like like. If so, that makes these new tanks, RFG Nozzle ready out of the box ;-)

Thank you so much , @najer , @samnaz, and @Vivid Creative Aquatics !

Yes it is genuine lock line , and I was already planning to order another RFG Nozzle for this tank ;) so no worries. I’ll thumb through my pictures to see if I have one . I am on the road if I don’t I’ll have to get one when I am back home.

As of right now I am honestly thinking of making this IM 30L EXT my display tank over the 75g ! I follow you @samnaz and I love what you’re doing with your 30L .

What do you all think I should do stick it out with the 75g , or take my build to a higher level and use my free tank?

Thank for your input @siggy ! I can see what you mean by the space of the 75g. I never thought about it being my wife’s tank, that’s a great idea! I would ask my work but ther already have a FW 75g at work I don’t think they will host two tanks but I can try. I have given much thought for it to be a planted tank as well , or even my frag tank .. those are some ideas that I have thought of as well .

Clayton, why not plumb the two tanks together on a single sump? You could make it a display refugium, clown fish tank, etc. Would be pretty cool. Only issue is the two tanks right next to each other won't be as cool as if you could somehow put one in one room and the other in another. Anyway, good problem to have. I set my build up in a wau=y that if I ever want to I can attach a second tank in a few minutes. Good luck and looking forward to what you come up with.

Thank you @choss ! I am trying to talk to my wife and figure out what I can do to maybe she will let me plumb them side by side so that way I can effectively use the two tanks ;)

So as of right now I thinking of switching over my build from the 75g to the new (freebie) IM 30L EXT tank. What do you all think?

I have tried posting my tanks for sale locally and neither one of the two have sold, so now I am still with both tanks lol . Trying to decide on what to do !

I wish I could link bot tanks to one system , but my house is a little smaller , and my wife does not want two tanks in the home. My wife thinks I should set up the IM tank over my 75g . So I may do that to keep her happy.

I am just still torn on which tank to set up. Or start to try and set up.

Other news is that my NG unit may actually be deploying by the end of this year, so that’s another reason on what’s holding me back and what’s stoping these two tanks from getting wet! I just got word that I am on the deployment list like 4wks ago . So with that being said I have held back some on getting them wet.

What do you all think I should do R2R? I need help ...

Thank you [emoji120]

Probably the best to hold off the decision until you hear about the deployment. But, I'd stay with the 75g tank. You've already built a stand, etc... for it. Plus, you may not like the limitations the smaller tank will require when it comes to types of fish and number of fish! Use the smaller tank temporarily as a coral quarantine tank... that gives you a reason to keep it... plus, you don't have to tie that into your other systemAMD can place it anywhere. A coral QT doesn't require a sump or skimmer, etc.... so, not costly either! I've had corals in my coral QT for 7 months and haven't moved them to my DT yet!

Thank you so much for the advice @Idoc! I have thought about keeping the 75g as well! I have even thought if I could sale it , I would replace it with a larger tank say maybe a Reefer or a newer IM , after the deployment if I do go.. ! So right now there are a lot of ideas in my head , but I am just having to see what happens with the deployment mostly .
