So I have a female emerald crab in my 10g that is about the size of a quarter lurking somewhere in the rocks. It has caused no problems with hurting coral, hermit crabs, snails or fish. I am wanting to add a little purple banded coral shrimp to the tank as well to keep bristle worms away but it is really really small. It's only about the size of a quarter as well. Should I worry about the crab making a 25$ meal out of this shrimp? If i can find the crab i can move it to a different tank.

You might have an issue with your tank only being 10g. I have heard and read it going both ways but everyone who said they didn't have issues had big tanks.

I've got two peppermints in my 9 gallon tank with an emerald crab. The crab will try to club them if they get close, but emeralds trying to smack anything that gets close. The shrimp have both been fine though, even through multiple molts.
