Enchelycore’s Reefer 450 Mixed Reef Build

Hey everyone! Been sitting on this tank since 2016 but due to a few moves and life, it got put on the back burner. Thanks to covid giving me some extra time, I figured it’d be now or never.

Tank: Redsea Reefer 450
Lights: 2x Kessil Ap700s on La Russo mounts
Return pump: Ecotech Vectra M1
Circulation: x2 Maxspect Gyre 250
Controller: Vertex Cerebra 2
(Had this long enough to see the company go out of business )
Doser: Redsea Reef Doser 4
Filtration:
Vertex 180i skimmer
Vertex RX-Z zeolite reactor
2x Aquamaxx Reactors
KZ Zeovit system

Livestock:
1x Pair of Blue stripe Pipefish

My main love has always been euphyllias and carpets so the tank might lean more in that direction as time progresses but for now there is a bit of everything. Have a idea of the fish I want but haven’t really got around to purchasing them.

It looks great, bundled up wires all over the place drive me nuts. I used 2x2 wire duct under my tank to hide them all

Nice! That’s an awesome idea to hide the wires. I might have to steal that one day lol!

Had to do a quick rescape due to a haddoni being a typical haddoni and deciding it likes the other side better… annnnnnd because life isn’t challenging enough sometimes, I decided the best thing to do is add yet another haddoni. Also got around to mounting up some frags.
