Thursday's Question of the day:

What's the best gift you can get a fellow reefer for $50 or less?
Foods!
I dislike spending money on foods when I'm at the fish store when I could be spending that money on more corals or fish.

What's the best/favorite Christmas gift that you've ever received and why?
Back in 1983 when I was 13 my parents bought me an Atari 400 computer. It was my first ever computer and I could write programs on it! I bought every computer magazine I could find, and afford, and learn everything I could.

The funniest thing about this is that you needed cartridges to use this computer; the basic cartridge was out of stock and I ended up have to wait 2+ months to get it from Sears (the tech hot spot at the time). Talk about being bummed.

I still have this computer. I broke it out 4-5 years back and it still worked. Got to play some Star Trek. lol

This set me on the path to my career as a computer programmer/software engineer/technical lead/architect.

Question of the Day:

What is the best Christmas gift you’ve ever received and why?

My husband. We married on Christmas Eve, 2015, and he’s the best thing that has ever happened to me save for our 2 beautiful children. I waited 30 years to find him, and find a relationship where we fit each other so completely. I am thankful every year for what and who I have. ♥️

A new wetsuit! Saved me from the chilly waters out in california. I always surf my wetsuits until holey and practically ineffective.

For Friday's question it would likely be the model train I got when I was like 5. That was my first hobby and still is one of my more active ones.

I also do like the shoes my wife got me a few years back.

Friday's question of the day:

What quickly comes to mind is my KitchenAid mixer since I was just using it today.
Why? Let's just say that mixer has helped introduce me to a lot of people in this hobby.

I recently watched a RedLetterMedia video where they were talking about Silent Night, Deadly Night II, and they were saying it's a frickin masterpiece! I need to watch it.
