I can't grab pics at the moment, although I'll update this post with them later. Anyway, my baby Epaulette Shark has a red rash on his tail. I've had him for about 4 days now. He's been doing fine, exploring the tank at night, and eating LRS like a champ. But today I noticed a red rash on his tail. Is this a rash from too rough of substrate? It's Fiji Pink, so I wouldn't think it'd be too rough. Or maybe he explored the wrong cave and got clapped by a pistol shrimp?

Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

Two good photos and three fuzzy pictures for you. But you can clearly notice a pink area.

Hi, additional background information is needed. This link lists what is helpful for us to know:

Also, a clearer picture would be good, of even a short video.

Sharks often get generalized erythema that isn't always serious, but they also get bacterial infections that look the same.

They get stressed very easily and will show redness on parts of their body. Take close watch of their feeding habits and monitor water quality closely. Also, clearer pictures please.
