So what's everyone recommend to attach your rock to each other? I saw a mortar mix that's out has anyone used that? I wanna build some structures then cycle in trash cans while I wait for my tank to be built

I've used aquaforest stone fix and it works great. Also standard aquarium putty sticks work good but can get expensive if u need a lot.

E-marco 400 mortar is the best to use for the strongest structures. I can pick up a 40lbs set of rocks that I used mortar on and it holds tight. Epoxy structures break and fail at 20lbs.

Take my word for it, take your time. Build the structure in several sections that will go in and out if you ever need to pull it out. Wish I took more time back when I did mine.

Yeah that's the product I was looking at. Did you put globs between 2 pieces or put them together and put the mortar on the outside?

I like to use cement, The AF is ok and The Nyos was awesome but pricey. Marco rock has a good kit.

I've tried several epoxies and I agree E Marco 400 is hands down the way to go. I built a heavy structure out of Tonga branch that is cantilevered off the sand bed.

I also detailed out how I built the structure using E Marco step by step as I attached each piece in my build thread:
