Very nice setup and fish collection.
I'd go for a juvenile and watch it mature and change color. I can wait for my octitaenia to switch to terminal male colors.
I wish I could. I have too many large flashers in the system. So I would be too afraid of it getting bullied and killed.

So this is all that's left of that beautiful flame wrasse. Truly heartbroken. He was the 2nd fish in that tank... was actually the female of a pair I bought and the male managed to jump the fist night. Watched him transition to a beautiful terminal male with a great personality over the last 3 years.

So sorry about the wrasse; that's awful. The tank is looking beautiful, at least.
Thank you. yea it's always a bummer when you lose a fish. Especially out of the blue. Other than that the tank is actually going through a pretty phase. Lol. No algaes, corals are all colored up. And things are going good.

is that a blue/green leather coral???
This one?? Its a green sinulara, it does have a bluish tint in my system. There's another one on the other side that's just bright green. Both came from the same original colony in my dads system. His actually looks almost all blue.

A big shout out to @TheKingInYellow produced and shipped by melevs reef, just recieved my nero 5 guard today, its amazing. Perfect fit, holds snug to the pump body and sits flush against the glass, it has a spot for the power cable to go through without any kind of binding. There was no noticeable decrease In flow.. now I can relax and not worry about fish getting sucked on or drawn into the open rear pump face.
...now if we can just do something about the weak magnets.

So a huge shout out to @optimusprime3605 I recieved my first fancy torch, it's a gorgeous indo gold/dragon soul torch, it came in super packaged and tripled bagged. The coral was in excellent shape and was exactly what was shown. It's been in the tank about 24 hours hasn't fully extended yet bit is open and happy. The colors are just gorgeous. Thank you again my friend.

Here's a bunch of shots from the dip to insertion and a few shots from this am.

Watch out for the Tang-police! Man that is nice though. Major set of minerals on you for re-sealing the back panel vs just scrapping it and starting with something else.

I absolutely need to look into these media reactor things........ this was a great reminder

Haha. I'm not scared of da police.. hah. I do have plans in the works for a larger reef savvy tank. As of now those guys are very happy where they are. As for the media rector I love the vertex brand. They're way over constructed for the money and work amazingly. I first stated withbthwm when I ran a zeovit system and used their zeo reator. It was great quality. I bought their 1l media reactor that I run carbon though, which is super easy to use and clean. But their calcium reactor is a beast!!
