Looks like I need one that can count mL dosed and stop when pH hits a 4.5.I was looking into that too. Defn keep me in your loop pls.
I'm thinking I can use 2 regular dosing heads from any doser and 1 I can control with the Hydros.

What am I asking? Why do people make me read so much today?!So if win the Mariner of the Month this month I'm probably going to make Alkalinity Auto Testing happen. I think I can do it with the iV and 1 additional dosing head. I can probably do it without the iV though. When I contacted CoralVue to inquire they said the iV is just a testing vessel and I could use any container. The magnetic stirrer is the only thing that actually connects to the Hydros. Everything else is run through 3 dosers and a pH probe.
With that said, Sam, since you were asking, the other problem is this either requires a second pH probe or you lose the pH monitoring if you're worried about that part of this. It takes the pH probe and it stays in the testing vessel so the pH would only change when any water exchange happens in that container.
You been to @Fishy888s page yet? What am I asking? Why do people make me read so much today?!
I was explaining that pH monitoring stops if automatic alkalinity testing starts unless a second pH probe is added. What am I asking? Why do people make me read so much today?!
I like him/her. He/she laughs at all my jokes (usually a couple days late). Don't know anything else about them but I do see they write lots of words. I struggled to write five sentences for MOTM so...You been to @Fishy888s page yet?

Actually, being unable to write long essays is what got me diagnosed as dyslexic.
(if only I could have use this gif in school)

I'd just hook up 2 ph probes and 3 steppers to an arduino. So if win the Mariner of the Month this month I'm probably going to make Alkalinity Auto Testing happen. Haven't looked that far into it yet as it would be a significant initial cost to setup but from what I was reading it looks like the reagent is either sulfuric or hydrochloric acid solution. N1 I believe.can you post about the reagents you'd be using?
