Like the title states some of my Euphyllia are losing color but not bleaching(thinking it’s my lighting)using RS coral pro, running a a160x (have not par’ed the tank) blues (70% max intensity) and violets (90%max) mounted 4” off the water (gooseneck) and lumilite pro 18” actinic (10% max both channels) mounted on the legs which is 2” off the water it’s a 20 gal WB cube. Parameters attached see pics. I’ve started to dose reef trace and reef plus as the tank is super stocked recently (moved coral from another tank experiencing issues and will be testing iodide and supplement accordingly. The coral started darkening before I moved the sps into this tank or did or added anything. They were darkening already just w the Kessil running by itself. Other Euphyllia seem to be doing well. Any help is appreciated. Fluctuations in ph and alk were before I added them, I had too much co2 and open a window 24/7 to fix that. Ph steady 8-8.3

I lowered my violet to 75% max just incase, but yea w kessils you need filler light tho. That spectrum is said to be the best but spread is lacking, adding a second lumilite pro 50/50 just gotta get my hands on a par meter

Were you able to regain color? I'm having the same problem and my hammer looks exactly like yours.
Yea the color is slowly coming back, targeting the correct spectrum peak for that specific color took a little research. Look up chlorophyll a, b, and cartenoids. Each absorbs certain spectrum and reflects others. Along with keeping up with trace elements mainly K, Fe, I, and supplementing minor. Aminos and live phyto for fats/proteins as well as zooplankton for cartenoids. Will take some time but you definitely notice a difference in coloration within a week just be careful not to overdose trace it can be toxic and overfeeding can lead to algal/ bacterial blooms. Hope this helps. My yellow hammer hasn’t regained its vibrant yellow but it has since then split. Upping my reds slowly to see what effect on color it will have. Violets and blues are excellent for growth/ coloration but reds are the other half where one of the chlorophylls peaks.

You can see a difference but not the only yellow hammer showing discoration so it has to be spectrum

What app is that to display your readings???

Personally, I'd do an ICP test and see where your trace elements are at. It could be that or PAR from my previous experience.

It’s not par but spectrum*** and I test major trace and supplement accordingly but moonshiners in the works. App is Aquarimate
