I know I’m not Paul hahah but I’d recommend starting with as large of a tank as you can afford/place in your home for parameter stability. Secondly, usually reefers go from SOFT CORALS (leather, zoanthids, sinularia, Kenya trees, toadstools, GSP, clove polyps, xenias, mushrooms) to LPS (Symphillia, Lobophyllia, Scolymia, Torches, Frogspawn, Hammers, Plate Corals, Duncans, Bubble, Blastomussas, Chalice, Favia, alveopora, goniopora) to SPS (montipora, poccilopora, stylopora, acropora) due to the increasing care requirements, price, and difficulty.
Start slow and don’t buy corals to fill the tank! It’s an expensive hobby and everyone learns through very expensive trails and errors but once you get the hang of it there’s nothing you can’t do (;

Another thing, invest in a good light source and possibly a Neptune Trident/Apex system. It really helps to visualize your parameters since STABILITY IS KEY in this hobby. Otherwise I’d recommend using Salifert to test your parameters and Nyos to test your nitrates. Happy Reefing!
