Im new to fish tanks. Im in the process of cycling my tank i used live rock and live sand the water is at 78f the salinity is at 1.022 And i have added the fluval biological enhancer my question is why is my live rock turning brown after 6 days

The rock is white. LIve rock is not usually white. Who said the rock was live.
On dry mined rock( what this looks like) The first thing to grow would be diatoms and they are brown.

The fish store said this is live rock and reached down into the water and pulled it out weighed it charged me $8.99 a pound for it they had other color rocks in there too

That rock looks like Marco rock. It’s mined from vey old reefs. It doesn’t look to have been colonised and will need to go through the cycle. The brown is the first stages of a tank beginning to mature. It could be diatoms or dinoflagellates. Google “Marine tank ugly stage” and you will get more info.
