So for the positives… it’s not mush this morning and the mouth is no longer gaping open.

yes I just saw I knocked over the frag next to it.. I’ll fix it later
Now for the negative. Right before I left for work I took one last look and a big bubble (-abscess looking thing) had started to come up on the foot. I’m going to try to come home around lunch and start another soak. I think if I can keep the foot from getting infected, he might be able to bounce back. But we are still at a stage where it could deteriorate really quickly.

I’m guessing this is not survivable… it makes me so angry all over again! Arghhhhhh I came home to start another treatment but unless this tissue can regrow, while I keep infection down, I’d say it’s toast. It seems to be holding on so im going to continue treatment until all hope is lost.
it’s not ideal to treat when not home so I have set up some safe guard

Camera set up to monitor temp and that the air hose stays in place.
Cables draping away and over a chair in case it doesnt
Bubbler up high to if it disconnects it won’t siphon.
And net over RFA s dish so it can’t float into the heater.

Well I laid the yellow rock flower to rest tonight. Even before the bath it had big chunks coming off it.. when I pulled it out of the bath, the foot was melting, there was no visible skin left on on the foot and the smell was pretty rank. There was such a big hole that it looked like a doughnut. I can say that I tried my absolute best. So at least there is that.
