Hey all,

the vinegar has nearly taken off all the calcifications. Should be able to finish the clean and then let it dry and move inside. I have a 70 gal DT and a 20 gal homemade sump. What I am thinking is that I want to rebuild the sump to include a refugium with the goal of housing copepods for a mandarin. Thoughts?

I know. I might be able to go up to a 30 and use the 20 as a QT. Space under the tank is limited and once it is in place I would prefer not to move. Any thoughts on best skimmer? Also, I have a dcp-3000 pump. How should I set the power on my pump? Sorry, totally new tot he hobby and learning as fast as I can.

Given the size of the system, even with a refugium I'd have to say a Mandarin will outstrip the pod reproduction and go hungry. You'd need to constantly replenish.
