Just curious on what your experiences were with this fish. How are they in terms of aggressiveness towards other wrasses and comparatively to the other wrasses?

Yes sir, the colors are crazy on these and LA has some collected from Maldives which are more colorful than the ones from Fiji. I have a pending order on LA and was thinking about adding one on but I might be patient.

All I know about them is they're prone to losing their color absent of females.

I've thought about getting one in the past but everywhere I've read, they're pretty aggressive

Haha, no, they are listed under the Reef Safe wrasses :)

Right in front of my face, I'll miss it everytime...lol.

The Japanese Cirrhilabrus Temmincki Wrasse looks incredible too (with the price tag to boot).

Yeah I considered picking that up but I think I'm going to wait for the ones I really want instead of picking up randomness. Haah

I had an African Exquisite wrasse for a bit. I bought a small male (approximately 2.5 inches). He ate frozen food immediately and was always out and about in the tank. The only aggression that he showed was to a very similarly sized Solon Fairy Wrasse. Other than that little aggression he got along fantastically with my other three wrasses. Unfortunately I lost him due to a tank crash a few weeks ago.

Ohhh. I want one :D is there a general rule of thumb for how many wrasses you can keep in a tank? Provided there's enough hiding places.
