I dont think the fans themselves are broken but rather that the dimming computer isnt sending any electricity to them. Feels to cooincidental if a new ramp directly from the factory had all fans broken

Make sure you don't run it with out fans. As already shared it will burn your ballasts and the ballasts are expensive to replace. Check with a volt meter if you are getting power to the fans.

    Found the reason!
Went into the hidden fan settings by pressning top, left, bottom, right, top, right, bottom, left and then center. There i saw the max and min voltage set on the fans where at -649.9 V. Changed max to 10.0 and min to 6.0 and everything worked

A bit off topic , but I have the dimmable sunpower I run it without the plexiglass and temp runs about 50c, the fans are set to automatic but I have never seen or heard them running ever. Should I be concerned or is the fixture just not getting hot enough to trigger the fans?

Check the hidden settings i described they should probably be running at that temp. I set max to 10 and low to 6

Stop running it without the polycarbonate. Seriously, like today. It isn't just a splash guard. It is part of the thermodynamic design. Otherwise you aren't cooking the bulbs and you might as well be using a cheap Tek light.

I agree with Fritzhamer, this is a bad idea for many reasons: as mentioned thermodynamic design, also we use 98% reflective Miro Silver reflector material which is far more susceptible to salt damage. While you may gain a 2-5% increase in PAR now, it will be gone in weeks to months when your reflectors start to pit and oxidize.

Don't do it, its not worth it :)

Just wanted to stop by and say thanks, I would have never known about the hidden fan menu and your post helped me figure out why my fans weren' turning on in less than 5 minutes!!!
