Peak spot for coloration I've found is front, center of my Aquaticlife Hybrid light fixture with 2 Radion G4 XR30s and 2 B+ and 2 actinic bulbs. AB+ at 100% for about 8 hrs, blues only for 2 hours, and T5s on for 7 hours. Fixture about 16" high above the low boy frag tank which is about 8-9" of water. Par around 375.Mine isn’t that bright red
What par you have yours in?
I’m trying to figure out which color I like more
Yeah, you can get a deep maroon/blood red out of it with lower par and you'll see more green on it as well. But at 250ish par I remember you saying that’s how we get the deep maroonish red out of it correct?
It’s definitely not the fastest grower and a little persnickety. I’ve been experimenting with it and I kind of prefer it more now with higher par. More of a bright pink/red though it loses the green.I’ve struggled a bit to get my BR frag to do much. Initially, I placed it in too shaded a spot and it just sat there. Recently I moved it to a higher light placing and it’s started encrusting. Mine is a a deep red with the green highlights.
Yea I like the deep red with green accents but god willing I am def going to have two frags of this puppy one in high light one in low lightIt’s definitely not the fastest grower and a little persnickety. I’ve been experimenting with it and I kind of prefer it more now with higher par. More of a bright pink/red though it loses the green.
