There’s an ugly side to that! Piled up shipping boxes in the corner... various dips strewn about the room... QT tanks scattered about! Scared yet!
Compared to the state of my office and garage right now with the new build...

When I’ve seen the pictures of the Bill Murray acro I’ve never really been impressed, but I have to admit it’s been growing on me lately.

The Psycho Asylum acro is one I’m glad you’ve posted, I’ve only ever seen it glow under crazy blue light. I just assumed that it was one of those looks good under blues acros. Turns out it looks awesome under both.

Can you tell me about your sps color ? What do you use ?
Saturation slider.

Kidding, just stability and happy acros. That’s half the battle. Nutrients around 25 nitrates and 0.08 ppm phosphates.

Everybody wants to sell you something or let you in on a big secret for acro colors. But it really comes down to a stable mature tank, nitrates above 5ppm, phosphates not too high, and healthy acros. They’ll shine on their own... nothing else needed.

Yes, I too am a critic of Tenuis under blues only. I show them once in a blue moon but try to stick to full spectrum pics only. It is delightfully pink right now. Haha!

I kept avoiding a lot of Tenuis because I thought it was just lighting tricks, I’ll have to keep an eye out for some nice ones. Right now I’m on the hunt for some awesome Lokani and Speciosa, the latter of which I’ve never seen in person.... so I’m very jealous of your Brain Freeze acro.

I kinda agree, most of the pics I see around haven't blown me away. I think it's one that doesn't show well in pictures maybe.

Most tenuis are if you run full spectrum in my experience. Homewrecker is an exception. There’s more but that one really takes the cake for looking good under full spectrum.

Malaysian Speciosa are amazing... and will cost you an arm, a leg, and the kitchen sink.

It’s giant. Such a fast growing coral once it gets going. iPhone pic so excuse the quality. That’s a 3” tile it’s on there.

Hello all,

Longtime cruiser of the club, first-time build thread poster.

I'm not going to bore you with details of when my passion for the hobby began and my first fish tank... yada yada yada.

I know what everyone came for... pics and videos! Please be patient with me as I figure out how to post videos and pics on this forum. I got it down pat on my local forum so forgive the missteps while navigating the learning curve.

Shot these last night, enjoy!

Welcome to R2R. Wow what a beautiful tank. Love the corals and fish. Great video.

Thanks a bunch Jim! And thanks for the nostalgia. I had much better video direction 5 years ago and my tank maybe even looks better back then than now... but I have hi-end acros now so... whatever that means! Haha.

That is one sexy coral! How much PAR is it under?
