Hey FarmerTy! Are you still using your alkatronic? If so, do you replace the pump tubing at any certain frequency? Thanks!
I have the Alkatronic on my backup system and running Trident on my main system. I actually haven’t replaced the tubing since I got it but have the replacement tubes ready to go for when the time comes. I have no concept of time with two kids being born and the pandemic but I feel like I’ve had the alkatronic for 1.5 years now.

That looks like a lot of new goodies on the way! Or, you’re sending goodies out?
I went nuts with the clippers. Was just fragging someone’s pack and then the clippers got a mind of their own.

How would you compare the colors of your blue Floyd and the diabolic pacman?

Diabolic Pacman such a clean yellow... and good bright whites along the inner branches with nice red polyps.

Blue Floyd has more intense red polyps... though yellow is a little less dense on the colony itself... has much more white areas which in the blue lighting reflects blue and gives it a nice effect.

This was last summer... which is sad that I haven’t taken another pic since then but my display colonies often get neglected in the rounds. It’s at 475 far. If you lower it, you’ll get a ton more yellow... around 350 par.

Thx! I have a Diabolic (very bright yellow) & really like the pic of your blue F, they seem to have very different growth patterns.

Yeah, the Blue Floyd just grows out and out with a very dense form. Diabolic seems to grow outwards and spaces itself like more of a standard acro form with very even spacing between branches.
