Trap is in, lights are off, now we wait and hope Jacques the cleaner shrimp is smart enough to stay out of the bottle. There's not much spa e for him to get in, and I guess even if he went in, he could sit on top of the opening and be safe, but whatever this thing is, it's very fast. I'm anxiously checking every two minutes....

The first thing that came to mind was a mantis shrimp, it moved really fast!!!I wonder.... Have you ever seen it clearly, or has it always been too quick to get a good look at?
I just find the way it moves a bit reminiscent of when my mantis shrimp sometimes pops out of a hole to grab food, and you did mention clicking sounds.
