Have not had one in my tank. Thought they might be to much for me to care for.

No. I also gave a BB tank. I made a flat piece out of E Marco cement, set the clam on it. That way you can move it if you need to. Clam has been happy on it.Do you need a sand bed in order to keep one? I have a bare bottom reef tank.
Easy, I think they’re a good filter. As long as you have good lighting and water quality.Have not had one in my tank. Thought they might be to much for me to care for.
Six rows and counting. Definitely put on weight since purchase.Mimosa clam from PEA, mainly blue and tan with teal running through it. It’s grown 5 rows of scutes since purchase.
That is a healthy T. maxima. Hope he is still with you. Great shell growth indicates that he is and had been healthy for “many moon”I have no idea what kind this is, but I've been reefing less than 2 years and just purchased it yesterday. My first, saw it and couldn't leave my LFS without it.
That last one is insane!!Taken pictures of clams is tricky unless you have a special arrangement, Special tank to take picture and special camera and light apparatus to take picture with. Healthy clams are so sensitive to light level changes, they retracted with minor change of light level.
I have Mandarin Crocea in the past but these three are closest I get to owning a Mandarin clam at this time.
