Disposable wooden chopsticks (washed and reused) to agitate melted cubes at feeding time and right frags that have been knocked over. I’ve also used latex gloves (fingers) to seal airlines in my jar builds.

One of those little plastic cards that the credit companies so generously send FREE. There's 1,001 uses for these things, and whenever I need a new one it magically appears in the mail.

I use a tea pitcher as a fish trap. Put food in, leave in tank for a day then they swim in.

1/2 gallon plastic pitcher I took from my mom when I was a kid and got my first 20 tall freshwater tank... (gotta be something like 40 years old?) I still use it today and it’s never had anything but tank water in it. I use it to hold other tools, such as Turkey Baster, my tongs, and I also use it to transfer water when needed, hold new fish for acclimation, (when small enough) when pulling frags out of the tank or adding new ones... and on and on....

Power washer... best thing ever for my reef. Need to clean your reef items with zero elbow grease...Power wash it! Ive used my power washer to clean: Power heads (MP40's), Protein skimmer, filter socks, dirty pipes, hoses...it work folks and no heavy chemicals required. It works amazingly well on my mp40's...i can clean all 4 less than 10 minutes.
What psi tip do you use? I have four tips and my guess would be the second weakest

chopsticks from when I order sushi or any type of asian food!

I use them maybe once or twice to poke around the sandbed.

I use a long silicon cake scraper to help move sand around if I see any major low spots and/or need to move some stuff around. Keep your hands out of the tank!

I use a colander in the tank when doing water changes. Keeps the small curious fish from getting sucked out. I am the wife, so I pilfered the husbands kitchen. Just don't put black worms in his fridge!
