So I just bought a 7.7lb live rock from my lfs and she said these were feather dusters can anyone confirm?

Not without them in water to see what will pop out of the tubes.

feather dusters can have calcium made tubes or soft tubes. So, that wouldn't help with id either. Need them in a bucket of water and look for a feathery crown.

retracted is hard to confirm... those are small & long tubes, but scale could be off and there are many types of feather dusters...

25 years ago, everyone wanted feather dusters and it was hard to keep corals, but feather dusters are filter feeders and some fish like to eat them, so they were considered 'advance' hobbiest. Since they can drill into rocks and coral skeletons, and these days many want corals, so instead now many consider feather dusters to be pests.... but many types of fish will nip and/or eat feather dusters
