I have a coral catshark pup 5" and he eats daily, about 4 tiny pieces of shrimp soaked in selcon. I also have a marbled catshark 8" and he eats every other day 6 pieces of shrimp soaked in selcon. I feed them 3x throughout the days they eat. Just wondering if anyone knows if I should cut back on feedings? They also get iodine supplements. @alprazo

You really need to vary their diet, if you ste just feeding shrimp that is certainly not good.

Silversides and squid should be fed and you can feed twice a day.

I'd like to stay away from silversides, they have poor nutritional value.

I have 2 coral Catsharks. 10” and 8”. Feed them once every other day. Mostly silver slides and krill with occasionally squid. I add Mazuri vitamin and selcon.

I totally agree with a varied diet!! if you hit the Asian markets you can get all kinds of stuff at a decent price.. I fed my banded cat sharks scallops, shrimp, hunks of white fishes (cod, etc), squid, octopus, all kinds of stuff.. If they have a sea food counter make friends with them!!! my shop used to make my sharks "care packages" with a mixture of stuff that was all super fresh and had not been thawed out yet.. so I could thaw it and then feed it..
