Hello there fellow reefers, it seems like after my female clown statted hosting my bubble tip she wont even bother hanging out with the male lol. She hogs the anemone and wont let any fish near it. She lets the male near but wont let him in. When the lights go off for the day she goes right into the nem and sleeps in there(TOO CUTE!) but the male would just hover above at a corner or sometimes 6 inches above the nem. Will the male eventually be let into the anemone? The female absolutely loves the nem and i think she wants it all for herself lol

They sometimes take time to settle, it has taken my pair months to get to this stage and the male prefers to be amongst the nem and the female around the fringe.

We are having the same problem now. Mated pair of clowns and the female won’t let the male in the anemone. He seriously looks heartbroken. Just wondering if there has been any change in your situation since it has been some months...
