Well it is finally happening, slowly though only doing it once. Well i cleaned the sump and started on building the stand. Bottom is all sealed and primed meed to find something to paint it with to make it hold water incase of an overflow or leak.

Well here are some pictures as of now.

Yaaaaaaay finally!

The only true way I found to make the bottom water proof was using pond liner on the bottom of my stand.

The high end melamine boards are water proof not the stuff you can get a Lowes and Homedepot.
All you need to do is add 100% silicone to all corners and edges

pond armor would work too. It's liquid rubber basically. The same stuff they use to water proof plywood tanks.

Hey Mark are you sure that it won't sag in the middle without upright braces anywhere except on the two ends? Is that a 2 x 8? I love the idea of not having to deal with an upright brace in the middle, just wondering if you researched that cause I would like to copy it for the stand I need to build for the 180 you gave us.
