Hi Everyone,

I started using Dr Tim's Waste Away Gel about a week ago and have been finding that my filter sock clogs up every 24 hours and is VERY slimy. I've never seen anything like it before (dirty yes - slimy no).

Is the sliminess a sign that the Gel is working and it's removing this slime from the tank? Or is the slime coming from the Gel itself and I should remove it from the tank?

I also notice that there are several Gel "pellets" that I am finding in the sump every day. Are they supposed to be there? Or have I placed it in an area with too high flow?

Thanks in advance everyone!
