Had to save, just a bit, but I am thrilled to have obtained a pair of these beauties from my friend and clownfish breeder, Miguel Hurtado. First day and they are happy and eating in their new home![emoji2]

The Wyoming white is a very similar fish in fact it was mixed with a fancy white to produce the Miami White. Obvious different markings are the spot on top and forward of the pectoral fin and more orange surrounded by black on the tail and ventral fin.

I know this is an old thread but I would like to know how you got these clownfish. From what I’ve heard Miguel only sells his Miami Whites to a very limited amount of people.

I’ve heard the same thing regarding Miguel and his patented Miami Whites. I got them in Feb 2016, so gonna be 5 years that I’ve had them this Feb. A lot has happened since then. He had problems with someone here in Miami, trying to sell his Miami Whites. Mine have spawned but it seems the eggs are infertile. But I’m not looking to raise babies from them anyway. Miguel is a good friend of mine, back in 2016, I did some work for him when he had to break down his backyard operations. At this time, he was selling Miami Whites at $500/ pair. He knew I wanted a pair bad, so he sold me this pair.

It’s a shame that someone would take advantage of Miguel’s fish to make money, now I can see why he is so hesitant to sell them. I would be willing to pay the money for them but I doubt I will ever get the chance. Looks like I’ll be sticking with the Wyoming whites for now haha.

Here they are recently. Got this ultra RBta, Last November and they absolutely love it. It split over the summer so now they each got one.
