Finally starting my saltwater journey!

I have wanted to have a saltwater aquarium for many years. Growing up I had several freshwater but was afraid to dive into saltwater. I finally decided to dive in, and start doing tons and tons of research to learn everything I could about having a saltwater setup. That is how I found this amazing community! Next I had to decide if I wanted to buy all new setup or go for used. I decided to go with used and found an established tank for a decent price. So I made the deal and now am a proud owner of a 120 gallon tall saltwater setup! It’s setup as a predator tank but eventually I would like to make it into a mixed reef tank. So this is the start of my new journey!
Equipment received:
120 gallon with side overflow ( 2x 1”) 1” return
Homemade stand and top
AquaticLife 48” 4 bulb T5 light
UnicLife wavemaker w-40
Roughly 150lbs live rock
30 gallon kit sump
Reef octo classic 150sss skimmer
Jebao DCS-12k return pump
Also received an Aqua classic 57w UV sterilizer in the box with the setup that’s never been used.

Current Fish:
Snowflake eel
wrasse
Undulate triggerfish
Sixlined soapfish
Volitan Lionfish
Blue faced Angel

I would let that tank sit for at least two weeks maybe a month before adding fish you need to make sure it’s 100% cycled before and then add your fish and I would wait at least two or three months before coral. Trust me your going to have lots of questions with this it’s easy once you get the hang of it but until then stay simple. If you have a question please ask don’t wing it, this will save you time and misery. Glad you joined the hobby

Thanks. It was already an established tank and I transferred 90% of the water. I ran it a few days to clear up the cloudiness from me adding 3 new bags of arag alive sand and then I reintroduced the fish back into the tank. All has been ok so far.

Tell us about your tank. It's a 120 tall. What kind of equipment did you get with it?

Thanks. It was already an established tank and I transferred 90% of the water. I ran it a few days to clear up the cloudiness from me adding 3 new bags of arag alive sand and then I reintroduced the fish back into the tank. All has been ok so far.

I understand it’s established but you just need to make sure.
